Week 4

Announcement: You may have notices that IXL reorganized some things this weekend. The objective numbers are different. Just be aware.

6th Grade
We are going to going to learning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide rational numbers. This will involve manipulating fraction so they have common denominators, and then reducing them to lowest terms.

7th Grade
We will be able to recognize the links between factors and multiples, and how finding the prime factorization of numbers can lead us to finding the relationships between numbers.

8th Grade
8th grade will be studying the properties of inequalities and how to solve inequalities by using inverse operations.

Week 3.

6th Grade
We are going to going to continue to learn about integers, however, we will also be learning how to add, subtract, multiply and divide rational numbers.

7th Grade
We will be finishing up chapter 2 with rounding decimal and whole numbers. On Wednesday we will have our first test of this school year.

8th Grade
8th grade will be continuing with expressions and equations. Remember if we understand the vocabulary it will be easier understand what is going on. So in other word the vocabulary is very important.

Monday, August 24, 2015

Okay here we go week 2.

6th Grade
We are going to continue to learn about adding and subtracting integers. We will do this by using direction on the number line.

7th Grade
7th grade has done a great job this first week with adding and subtracting integers. We will move on this week to include the addition and subtraction of negative rational numbers.

8th Grade
8th grade will be jumping right into expressions and equations. While we do this we are going to keep in mind that if we understand the vocabulary it will be easier understand what is going on. So in other word the vocabulary is very important.

Welcome Back Everyone!

  • If you missed back to school night be sure to read the back to school night information, IXL homework, and missing work policy pages on my blog.

  • If you are having trouble finding the graphing composition notebooks go to Louie's Dollar Plus.

  • Don't Forget to subscribe to my blog by e-mail. This will allow the updates to my blog to be emailed to you. If you look on the right hand side of this page near the bottom you will find a place to enter your e-mail. Remember it has about a 12 hour delay form the time I update my blog.
