Week 1

I am so excited for this year to start. We now have your students in their math classes and we are ready to get started.

This week in 6th Grade we will be covering algebraic expressions and equations. Your student will be learning how to write and solve each of these. They will be showing their understanding by drawing bar models.

7th Grade will learning how to take any number and express it as a product of prime factors, then from there they will use the prime factors to find the GCF and the LCM of two or more numbers.

In 8th Grade we will be learning the laws of exponents. We will be able to solve equation that involve exponents and simplify expression that involve exponents.

Remember to check the blog for the homework!
